Powerball Techno

Powerball Techno Review

At first it seems impossible to read the screen but the advice from other reviewers is correct, suspend the ball on the string (gently, don't just drop it) and the score will scroll accross the ball's surface as it slows down.

You can also read it by holding the ball very loosly so it is only spinning in one direction. I find it makes a loud grinding noise when this happens but this seems to be normal from other reports on the net. Placing it on a soft surface such as a bed or a sofa where it can spin without being held in place also works well.

I still don't think this is as good as the version with the screen but the price difference makes up for this in my opinion.

ok - kami - UK
was fun for 1 day but got bord of it, did not have any meaning
to me just have a ball moving in my hands.

Its Great - Neil Delaterre - UK, Oxfordshire
I pick it up, play with it.
Put it down...I just have to try to beat my last score.
So I pick it up again.

Its great fun.

Holding it steady so you can see the score takes practise.

Good but not adictive. - H G MILLICHAP - St.Leonards on sea, UK
This model works the same as all the other Powerball models but is lacking the digital counter and that spoils it. Your maximum speed is displayed by the whizzo lights within the ball as it slows down and are difficult to see if you don't have the ball held at the right angle and you only get one chance to see it. Because of that it's not as addictive as Powerball would have you believe. If this one ever breaks I would buy another but with a counter.

Quite Disappointing - Mr. D. Coleman - Manchester,England
Works well just like any other Powerball but the scrolling display was so difficult to read I gave up on it after 2 days and purchased the signature white series Powerball Pro instead. I have since read many reviews that echo my thoughts so if you are serious about wanting to monitor your speeds then definitely give this one a swerve in favour of a Powerball Pro.
